This 39 has become surplus — available to the next buyer.

The car was inspected (MOT) earlier this year and a bunch of new parts were fitted before that; it has hardly been driven since.

- Front and rear brake pads + handbrake shoes.

- Front control arms + tie rod ends.

- Front dog‑bone links.

- Rear wheel bearings.

The car has decent equipment and everything works.

- Full black leather comfort interior.

- Glass sunroof.

- Fully electric front seats, driver memory.

- Electric steering adjustment.

- M Sport steering wheel.

- 4x electric windows.

- Adjustable armrest with phone preparation.

- Webasto heater.

- Booster cushions in the rear seats for child passengers.

Mechanically it’s fully functioning as well — work done during my ownership. PS the gearbox shifts smoothly and doesn’t jerk.

- Injectors replaced.

- Turbo replaced.

- High‑pressure fuel pump replaced.

- Regular oil changes.

- Intake manifold gaskets.

Not to praise it too much — now to the faults.

- Previous owner has replaced/repaired some exterior panels, e.g. front wing in a different shade; a welded repair on the sill which may be noticeable on close inspection.

- Small stone chips on the bonnet, not large.

- Some damage/corrosion at the edge of the boot lid — basic rust on the boot lid.

- Rear glass does not open from the outside button.

- Exhaust modified: from the front standard, from about halfway to the rear straight; essentially only the rear silencer has been removed.

- Bodywork otherwise healthy and straight; I wouldn’t take the paintwork to a show.

- Pros and cons: lowering springs fitted but standard springs are included; the photos show the lowered springs so it’s not excessively low.

- A couple of mounting tabs on one kidney grille are broken, but it stays in place while driving.

So, in other words a basic, usable car with a long MOT, but not quite ready for shows.

Two sets of tyres, each on their own wheels. Summer tyres have tread; I would fit new winter tyres before next winter.
