This model is operated via the touchscreen rather than buttons. The reader has a built-in large 6100 mAh battery that charges while connected to the car's OBD port (a USB charging cable is included, so it can also be charged with a standard phone USB charger).

Most cars are recognised automatically when the reader is connected to the OBD port; the device retrieves vehicle details based on the VIN. If this does not work or you prefer to enter the details manually, that is also possible.
