Defects and other observations

The gearbox requires adaptation; a JAD gearbox has been fitted, while the vehicle originally had a JUM box, so the final drive ratio has changed. The vehicle is driveable but the transmission does not operate completely correctly. An equivalent original JUM gearbox is included, which has only done approx. 80,000 km; however, in that gearbox the 5th and 6th gear clutch plates are faulty. A completely new engine was fitted in 2021; this engine has done approx. 50,000 km. Extensive repairs have been carried out in recent years, e.g. new drive shafts, turbo replaced, new injectors fitted with the engine change, exhaust manifold renewed, new alternator, etc. The vehicle is fully soundproofed and fitted with a good audio system: active front speakers, 6x9s and a subwoofer, all via an amplifier; a 100 Ah auxiliary battery in the tailgate. Also fitted: phone-controlled Webasto heater, tow bar, attractive 18" alloy wheels with good studded tyres (no summer tyres). The vehicle is registered as dual-purpose.


NOTE! In the vehicle's French history the mileage has been removed/altered; the true mileage is therefore the 581,300 km stated in the listing. The odometer currently shows 408,652 km. A CarVertical report is still shown in the pictures.
