Failed its inspection last autumn; it still worked well during the autumn elk hunts until the driving period ended. There's enough welding required that I'm no longer keen to start fixing it.

During the winter before last, on icy roads it had a small slide which broke the steering tie rod and dented the shock absorber (a new shock is included). There are scratches on the driver's-side sill and the steering wheel is crooked (wheel alignment is required).

There is welding to be done on several parts of the chassis and body; the photos show the types of rust damage involved.

Additionally, the windscreen and the CV-joint boot should be replaced; the photo shows the list of all defects found in the inspection.

Also, the tachometer behaves erratically and the fuel gauge does not work (a new sensor is included).

Fitted with worn studded tyres; unfortunately there are no other tyres.

Based on a short test drive, I would say it can be driven away on transit plates; after standing over the winter I did not notice any new faults.

There are plenty of signs of use here and there and certainly many other small jobs to do on such an old, high-mileage vehicle.
