INSTALLATION WITHOUT ADHESIVE Instead of wet gluing, LVT/LLT vinyl floors can be installed using the Xtrafloor™ Flex Pro underlay. The Xtrafloor™ Flex Pro underlay enables adhesive‑free installation. The product is suitable for heavy domestic and commercial use. A pressure‑sensitive adhesive surface under a protective film ensures easy and reliable installation. The underlay evens out minor subfloor irregularities. Xtrafloor™ Flex Pro is dimensionally stable and improves the acoustics of the installed plank/tile. The product can be used with underfloor heating and cooling systems, provided the subfloor surface temperature does not exceed 27 °C. By using Xtrafloor™ Flex Pro the subfloor remains undamaged. Thanks to Xtrafloor™ Flex Pro the covering can be installed over an existing floor covering such as ceramic tiles, linoleum, fixed vinyl flooring or wood. A plank/tile installed over Xtrafloor™ Flex Pro is a “floating” floor. For this reason leave approx. 3 mm expansion gap at the room/area edges.
