From Finland's largest recycling project of loose-fill insulation. One house contains approx 150 m³ of insulation in the loft. The houses have been standing for about 7 years with heating on. The houses are moved elsewhere; before demolition the insulation is vacuumed out from the loft with a suction truck and tipped onto the hall floor for temporary storage. Insulation from one house can be mechanically loaded and compacted into a single approx 40 m³ roll-off container. When re-blown, a loaded container will yield an estimated 120–140 m³ of insulation. Insulation is sold in single-house batches (150 m³ / 40 m³ container loaded); the collection fee includes loading. The buyer collects the product with their own equipment and at their own cost, or alternatively may request a delivery quote from us.
