The gearbox would require adaptation. A JAD gearbox has been fitted; the vehicle originally had a JUM unit, so the gear ratios have changed. The vehicle is driveable but the gearbox does not operate completely correctly. An original equivalent JUM gearbox is included (driven approx. 80,000 km); in that gearbox the clutch plates for 5th and 6th gears are faulty. In 2021 the engine was fully replaced with a brand‑new unit; this engine has done approx. 50,000 km. Extensive work has been carried out in recent years, including new drive shafts, turbo replaced, new injectors during the engine swap, exhaust manifold renewed, new alternator, etc. The vehicle is fully sound‑insulated and fitted with good audio equipment: active front speakers, 6x9s and a subwoofer, all via an amplifier; a 100 Ah auxiliary battery in the tailgate. Also phone‑controlled Webasto heater, towbar, nice 18" alloy wheels with good studded tyres (no summer tyres). The vehicle is registered as dual‑purpose.
