Ozonator output and number of ozone plates and power supplies

40,000 mg/h: four double‑sided ozone plates and two power supplies.

20,000 mg/h: four single‑sided ozone plates and one power supply.

10,000 mg/h: two single‑sided ozone plates and one power supply.

Ions require an ioniser unit inside the machine. Ozone plates do not produce ions.

If the unit you buy is claimed to produce negative ions, check that the device contains the ion‑producing component shown in the last picture.

of one plate is 5,000 mg.

ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to cluster and fall out, forming a larger, heavier particle that quickly settles away from the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are very harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by many microbes — microbe toxins — mix into the indoor air as aerosols and present a serious health risk if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavier microbe toxins that do not mix into the air cause health issues mainly via spores, which are the carriers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative air ionisation is based on achieving high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, such as upholstered furniture and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel into the lower lungs (alveoli) via inhalation and enter the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work particularly effectively in an overpressurised building.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together form compounds that can efficiently remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn cooking and tobacco smells.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC (Microbial Volatile Organic Compounds) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) from the air.

    Ozonation and negative air ionisation create a pleasant, easy‑to‑breathe indoor air that is good for people to be in.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together produce very clean indoor air also for workplaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be performed if people are present, because ozone is produced in large quantities to destroy microbial spores.
