This unit has three operating modes:

• Degas / Bubble reduction

The ultrasonic cleaner’s degassing function removes dissolved air and gases from the cleaning fluid before the main cleaning cycle. Although ultrasonics work via bubbles (cavitation), excessive air in the water absorbs ultrasonic energy and reduces cleaning efficiency. Degassing increases cleaning power by around 30% and offers extra protection for delicate items.

• Gentle / Half power

Ultrasonic cleaning at reduced power, intended for more delicate parts (e.g. watches, jewellery, precision mechanical parts, electronics).

• Full power

Ultrasonic cleaning at full power for removing more stubborn grease and dirt.

Note! This is a new, updated model that differs from older “basic” models sold here and elsewhere:

• more functions (gentle, full power and degas)

• four ultrasonic transducers (others usually have just one) — gives a more even, faster and more effective clean

• 600 W heating power (others often 220 W or less)

• a tap on the side of the cleaner with the supplied hose for easy, controlled draining

• attractive glossy black finish on the housing
