For sale due to lack of use: approx. 1988 Apache 470 motorboat with a 30 hp Evinrude engine (1990) — about 22 kW. The sale also includes a Kärppä boat trailer (1990). Both boat and trailer are registered. The boat was last used in 2017 and ran perfectly then. It runs smoothly with that engine. Electric start, console steering and automatic bilge pump. A Lowrance fishfinder from around 2014 is included in the sale; it is not shown in the pictures. Since the last trip it has been stored in a shed for lack of boating interest and is now being sold to someone who needs it more.


EDIT 11 April: Additional info — the boat has been with us since 1995. Probably only one previous owner. During this time it has been on the water perhaps ten summers for trolling, depending on enthusiasm. It is not a show trophy or worn out.

Defects and other observations

The boat has not been tested since it was last used and will almost certainly require at least a carburettor cleaning. In addition, I made the following visual observations:


Fading and scratches to the paintwork, some patching on the inner hull

Fuel hose between the tank and engine needs replacing

Battery missing

Rainwater apparently gets into the bilge from above; it does not affect use but can be heard sloshing on the trailer. Inside there are drain plugs to remove the water. This has been happening for the last 20 years.

At least 2 keel rollers on the trailer need replacing

Minor scuffs on the trailer tyres

Trailer lights not working; magnetic lights have been used
