Ford Transit, 2014, Ylöjärvi

For sale for repair: a long Ford Transit, a small minibus upholstered by Prostyle, registered as a 1+8 passenger car.

The vehicle was an accessible taxi until December 2022, after which it was for private use and re‑registered as a passenger car on 6 September 2023.

The vehicle has been stationary since early February because the DPF (diesel particulate filter) is blocked and the vehicle smokes heavily whenever regeneration starts.

Other faults:

- the sliding door lock barrel is broken; the door can be used but cannot be locked. Central locking works on the other doors, but the vehicle beeps whenever the doors are locked.

- the clutch pedal does not always return fully and sometimes stays slightly depressed. The clutch does work and gears change well.

- a piece has come off the plastic housing of the air filter and this has been taped up — see photo.

- a few small dents and early rust on the sills and wheel arches — see photos.

- the vehicle has two fuel heaters, but the cab heater does not work and the passenger heater is erratic (works intermittently).

Despite the faults the vehicle is driveable, no warning lights are on and it passed inspection on 15 October 2025,

but I do not recommend driving it until it has been repaired because of the heavy smoking; smoke also gets into the interior.

Now the vehicle's positive aspects,

• Large, spacious vehicle with good room for a big group of passengers and still plenty of space for luggage.

• Prostyle interior: leather‑look seats, dark‑tinted rear windows, sound system, dimmable LED lights and roof ventilation vents for in/out flow.

• Good equipment: towbar, engine block heater, cruise control, bull bar, extra lights, separate air conditioning for cab and passenger area, and a sun visor for the windscreen.

• All rear seats are removable and their layout can be changed, so it’s easy to carry large items if needed.

• Two sets of tyres on alloy wheels: summer tyres with approx. 5–6 mm tread and studded winter tyres with approx. 7–8 mm tread (Nokian Hakkapeliitta).

• New windscreen fitted on 6 February 2026 (receipt/photo).

• New turbo fitted in summer 2025 (receipt/photo).

• In autumn 2025 a factory‑serviced EGR valve, a new intake manifold and an exhaust gas temperature sensor were fitted — receipt available.

• Engine, chassis and brakes in good condition; drives well and stable.

The vehicle previously had an electric sliding door, but this has been converted to manual operation; the mechanism and wiring are still in place, so it can be changed back if desired.

There was also an accessible lift in the rear which was removed in 2023, but the lift’s power cable remains in the rear.

This vehicle does not have an AdBlue system.
