The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G smartphone features a 6.5-inch (16.5 cm) Super AMOLED touchscreen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 5000 mAh battery with 25 W fast charging, a 64+12+5+5 MP camera system and next-generation 5G readiness. It is dust- and water-resistant with an IP67 rating and protected by durable Gorilla Glass 5.

Touchscreen
The Galaxy A53 5G is equipped with a 6.5-inch Infinity-O touchscreen offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Infinity-O display maximises the screen area to the edges. Thanks to Super AMOLED technology it delivers excellent energy efficiency compared with LCDs, accurate colours and deep blacks. The 120 Hz refresh rate provides a smoother multimedia experience, ideal for gaming, watching videos and browsing social media.

Cameras
On the rear is a 64+12+5+5 megapixel quad-camera system with an LED flash. The 64 MP main sensor (f/1.8) offers Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and autofocus to ensure sharp pictures even in poor lighting. The 12 MP ultra-wide sensor (f/2.2) is perfect for architecture and landscapes, the 5 MP macro camera lets you take close-ups, and the 5 MP depth sensor allows stylish portrait shots with a blurred background. A 32 MP front camera (f/2.2) is placed in the Infinity-O cutout.

Performance, connectivity and storage
The Exynos 1280 processor includes two performance cores at 2.4 GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.0 GHz, offering excellent performance and good energy efficiency. The processor also supports 5G data connections, high-speed Wi‑Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 for a smoother, faster, low-latency experience. Files are stored on 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by up to 1 TB with a microSD card.

Battery and charging
Power comes from a large 5000 mAh battery that can last up to two days per charge. The smartphone charges via USB‑C and supports 25 W fast charging, which brings the battery to 50% in around 30 minutes.
