This creates thousands of tiny cavitation centres (microbubbles) that then burst under the same sound waves. The penetration of the microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that remove dirt particles (grease and other impurities) from the surface of the object. With this method you can clean effectively all surfaces immersed in the tank without scrubbing or wiping the dirt.
