Nice blue Kontio Kruiser — easy and comfortable to ride. It quickly puts a smile on your face when you “twist the throttle”!

This item has been on display in our shop. The Kruiser is new but has had a few short test rides. During a move something hit the front and the plastic panels cracked. See the pictures. For sale I taped and wrapped the panels with cling film. Based on a test ride everything seemed to work, but note the scooter is sold without warranty.

The main difference to other models is that it has two batteries. One is vertical under the seat and the other is horizontal under the footrest. The ride feels pleasant, solid and stable. The Kruiser has three speeds. Maximum speed 25 km/h. Motor power 1000 W. There is a separate seat and footpegs for a passenger. Rear indicators and the headlight were tested. You are welcome to test ride this unit. No battery or mileage warranty is provided — read the notes below. As a display model the surface may have dust, minor wear, scratches/marks from moving or test rides.

Delivered with keys, user manual and charger. Read more about vehicle insurance online. (Source, OP.fi: “Electric vehicles that weigh more than 25 kg or travel over 25 km/h must be insured with mandatory traffic insurance.”) As this is a display model the buyer should be aware of maintenance tasks related to the Kruiser, such as bleeding the brakes. Notes:

• No battery warranty. The Kruiser stood unused for over a year, the batteries charged fully and the test ride went well. As seller we do not comment on the condition of the batteries.

• See photos — damaged panels. Behind a panel is the scooter’s electronic module. The buyer should secure it better. Also the battery under the footrest should be secured by the buyer, e.g. with adhesive strips.

• The rear tyre brake does not work; it likely needs bleeding.

• The rear light function was not tested.

Kontio Kruiser Long Range Style is a redesigned two-seater Kruiser equipped with two powerful batteries, allowing for a very long range on a single charge. This makes the Long Range Style a practical and efficient option for everyone, especially those who need a reliable vehicle for longer journeys.

The Long Range Style’s fully electric motor and selectable battery configurations provide a range of 75–120* kilometres on a single charge, depending on the battery chosen. This makes the Long Range Style ideal for both city rides and longer trips, offering reliability and comfort in all situations.

*Range may vary significantly depending on factors such as rider behaviour, charging regularity, outside temperature, weather conditions, terrain inclines and surface, use of lights or other electrical devices while riding, tyre pressures, passenger and cargo weight, and whether batteries are cold. For these reasons actual range may differ substantially from our tested range, both lower and, to some extent, higher. Range per charge decreases with increasing number of charge cycles.

Range was measured with a 90 kg rider in varying early autumn conditions on paved roads and cycle paths in Kouvola in real-world conditions. The route included many stops and hills. The result was calculated from several test rides, selecting the lowest achieved range and rounding down to whole kilometres.

Primarily intended for off-road use and unpaved surfaces. When riding a lightweight electric vehicle or motor-assisted bicycle you must follow the traffic rules applicable to cyclists and traffic control devices. (Traficom) Lightweight electric vehicles with a maximum speed of 25 km/h and max. 1 kW power are used under cyclist traffic rules, so their proper place is generally the cycle lane.
