Offline is our first pure steel-frame gravel bike, built to be thrown about wherever you please. The geometry of the 56 cm frame size suits taller riders from about 180 cm upwards. Smaller frames are coming, but for now it’s a head start for taller riders.

Offline offers strength and versatility. At a total weight of 14.5 kg it is not the absolute lightest, but its steep top tube angle still lets you work up a sweat when you want. The off-road handlebar flares at the drops for much better control on tougher terrain. The Advent groupset gives you a useful 9 speeds, so you won’t be constantly hunting for the right gear.

There is also a more general-purpose gravel bike with a straight bar called the Streamline. Check that out if a flat handlebar and unrestricted use is more your thing.

STEEL FRAME MADE IN FINLAND

Made from Finnish steel. The Docol R8 tubing is high-strength, safe and consistent. Because of its lightness and strength Docol R8 tube is used in drag racers, motorcycles and sports cars. Read more on SSAB’s site about the steel tube we use.

STEEL FRAME DURABILITY

Unlike some other materials, steel can withstand heavy impacts and rough conditions without losing structural integrity. This is especially valuable on long, demanding tours on mixed surfaces. Steel’s durability also means a longer service life, giving riders peace of mind and good value over many years.

Steel tubing will bend under excessive load rather than snap like aluminium. From a safety perspective this matters when riding older bikes, as aluminium’s strength typically degrades faster over time than steel’s.
