ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to gather and form larger, heavier particles that quickly settle out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes (microbial toxins) can cause serious health harm if they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) combined with negative ionisation depends on achieving high concentrations.

When the device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, its effectiveness is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air to the deepest parts of the lungs (alveoli) and from there into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative ionisation are particularly effective in an over-pressurised building.

Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, such as sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxins, and stubborn cooking and tobacco odours.

Ozone and negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOCs/VOCs.

Ozonation and negative ionisation create a pleasant, easy-to-breathe indoor air — a clean environment that is good for people.

Combined ozone and negative ionisation produce very clean indoor air suitable for workspaces as well.

Ozonation of indoor air cannot be performed while people are present, because ozone is produced at high concentrations to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentration and negative ionisation achieves good cleaning results even in porous materials. After treatment the space must be ventilated before occupants return.

Products are sold as they are at the time of the auction or sale. Auction items have no warranty unless specifically stated, and there is no right of exchange/return. The descriptions in the listing are the seller’s estimates of condition. The buyer is responsible for checking condition and functionality before placing a binding bid. If the buyer does not accept these auction terms they should not bid. The seller reserves the right to accept or reject the highest bid.

Compensation for cancellation of a binding sale is 10% of the purchase price, but at least €200. Compensation is a sum not subject to VAT according to VAT legislation.

The item must be collected/shipped no later than one week after the end of the auction.

For overdue days we charge a storage fee of €20 per day.
