The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is produced by transmitting waves (invisible to the human eye) through the water containing the cleaning fluid. This creates thousands of tiny cavitation centres (microbubbles), which then implode under the action of the same sound waves. The penetration of the microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that separate dirt particles (grease, other contaminants) from the surface of the object. With this method you can clean effectively all surfaces immersed in the cleaner without scrubbing or wiping the dirt.

When a suitable liquid is used, it is ideal for disinfecting all kinds of items.
