How to submit bids

The lot will be sold by incremental bids in an online auction on the www.huutokaupat.com website during 26 March 2026 – 8 April 2026. Participation in the auction requires registration. The deadline for submitting bids ends on 8 April 2026 at 14:00 or three minutes after the last accepted bid.

The Enforcement Authority is not responsible for the functionality of the service provider's system. The highest bid is the one accepted as highest by the service provider's system. The enforcement officer will decide separately on acceptance or rejection of the highest bid.

Bids made in the online auction are binding. If an accepted bid is approved, the bidder is obliged to pay the purchase price within the stated payment period. Failure to pay the offered purchase price may lead to liability for compensation by the buyer pursuant to Chapter 5, Section 25 of the Enforcement Code.

If it is not possible to submit purchase offers through the huutokaupat.com service, a prospective buyer may submit a written purchase offer to the enforcement authority, which will be attached to the online auction as the maximum bid according to the automatic increment. A written offer must be signed and must state the bidder's contact details, the maximum amount of the offer and the huutokaupat.com lot number to which the offer applies. A written purchase offer is binding and the same conditions as for the online auction apply. The offer must be submitted no later than 2 April 2026 at 12:00 to the mailbox in the foyer of the Enforcement Authority's Kotka office, address: Vuorikatu 5 C, 48100 Kotka, or by e-mail to kouvola.realisointi.uo@oikeus.fi.

The enforcement authority reserves the right to end the sale or extend the sale period.

Payment terms

If the highest bid is accepted, the buyer must immediately pay the full purchase price into the Enforcement Authority's official deposit account. The Enforcement Authority will contact the bidder whose bid was accepted. The highest bidder must state on whose behalf the bid was made. Otherwise, the highest bidder will be regarded as the buyer.

If payment is not made within the specified time, the buyer must pay default interest on the entire purchase price in accordance with section 4(1) of the Interest Act until the full purchase price has been paid or a new sale has taken place. The current default interest rate is 9.50%.

Other information

The property has been seized and is sold by open sale conducted by the enforcement officer, observing where applicable the general auction terms laid down in the Enforcement Code. The sales brochure is indicative and is not a comprehensive description of the lot.

The lot will be handed over to the buyer after payment of the purchase price, at which point ownership transfers to the buyer. The buyer will be given a receipt of acquisition. The wagon dryer must be removed from the sale location immediately after the purchase offer has been accepted and the purchase price has been paid.

Buyers are strongly advised to familiarise themselves with the lot, the sales brochure and the attached documents before placing a bid.
