  • An inexpensive quattro with a valid inspection — a bit of a risk. 204 hp model, standard condition and recalls done. Ordered new without a DPF, only a catalytic converter. Rear mufflers have been removed and replaced with straight pipes. It growls nicely but not too loudly.

  • The manual gearbox works as it should; the reverse-lock on the gearstick is a bit weak and takes getting used to.

  • It likes to flash all kinds of warning lights, but they haven’t affected driving or inspection. Most recently the high‑pressure pump bolts have been breaking. At the moment the pump is secured with all bolts again, but I can’t say how long it will last. The mounting ears are intact and secured with grade 12.9 bolts. Turbo and injectors were replaced during the previous owner’s time, less than 100,000 km ago.

  • If you’re after a tidy car, this is not it. Surface rust on the bonnet, wings and boot lid, possibly on the doors too.

  • Sold with 18" alloy wheels and studded tyres. One tyre is split at the sidewall; a temporary transfer wheel is fitted.

  • First registration in Finland: 11.10.2013
