TERRAGRAFIA is a unique printmaking technique developed in Israel. This method uses a thick colour paste, an acrylic- or oil-based binder and sand. The sand used in terragrafias is collected from the Judean and Negev deserts. The result is a painting-like, coarse and durable surface texture that brings the recurring colours to life.
