Defects and other observations

  • Coolant leaks from the front left.

  • Fuel is leaking. The feed pump is wet with fuel.

  • Engine is leaking oil.

  • Hard to start when cold. Requires several prolonged start attempts.

  • Driver's window and horn do not work. These were listed as repair instructions at the previous inspection.

  • Radio will not switch on.

  • The Eber (heater) starts but stops after about a minute.

  • Rear axle makes a lot of noise. On the right rear the spring's upper mount has torn loose and the spring is about to detach. The same mount on the left rear is tearing.

  • Both rear springs are broken.

  • Front exhaust hanger broken and the exhaust knocks against the steering rack.

  • Exhaust leaks in several places. Joints are not secured at all. Also a couple of rust holes in the pipe.

  • Brakes grind. Rear brake discs are grooved and rusty.

  • Timing belt long overdue.
