Defects and other observations

During a short test drive we made the following observations:

  • The automatic transmission appears to be slipping. It can drive in 1st gear but does not shift up. Reverse works. Collection by trailer is recommended.

  • Otherwise drives OK; the engine runs smoothly.

  • I could not open the tailgate.

  • The right front window does not open.

  • Sometimes the central locking locks the doors when the right front door is opened. The service history/receipts mentioned a faulty door wiring loom—could be related?

  • The central locking works from the key about 90% of the time; occasionally it does not respond, but pressing the unlock button on the key several times usually opens the doors.




  • The car has not undergone a technical inspection by us and the functionality of all features has not been tested. There may be faults or hidden defects that were not detected during the test drive. You are welcome to inspect the car more thoroughly before placing a binding bid.
