The device's principle of operation is simple: once the chosen felling direction has been decided and the required felling cut has been made in the tree, the wedge is inserted into the saw kerf and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge, which moves between stainless steel lamellae, forward so the kerf opens and the tree starts to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling guide produces the force to fell trees precisely in the desired direction easily and without straining the logger. The safe distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
