Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we performed a test drive and technical inspection and made the following observations:


The car was taken to our workshop and the following was noted:

  • Valve cover cracked and leaking slightly

  • Engine wiring harness extended/repaired

  • Cylinder 3 injector very rusty and the base was not reamed - leaking

  • Injectors removed, block 2 - Cylinder 4 injector very rusty and bottom washer missing

During the same repair shop visit the following was fixed:

  • Oil filter housing cracked - leaking oil - replaced

  • Injectors removed, block 1 - Cylinder 1-2 injectors OK and bases reamed

  • Nozzle return line broken - replaced

  • Poly V-belt pulley seized - replaced

  • Rear shock absorber bolts rusted solid - threads cleaned and bolts replaced

The car has already been repaired at considerable cost and with a small amount of additional work will be a suitable car for the next owner to drive. The car is roadworthy and can be driven away from Kamux in Koskelo, Espoo.
