ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause lightweight, positively charged particles in the air to clump together and fall out of the breathing zone as the formed heavier particles settle quickly.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes and mixed into the air as aerosols can cause major health harm when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Microbial toxins that do not mix into indoor air typically cause harm only via spores, which are the producers of these dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on achieving high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, effectiveness is 5–10 times better compared with ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, for example sofas and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health threat. Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air into the deep lungs (alveoli) and then into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially effectively in an over-pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ion treatment together form compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and persistent cooking and smoking odours.

    Ozone and negative ion treatment also removes fine particles and MVOC (Microbial Volatile Organic Compound) and VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ion treatment produce pleasant indoor air that is easy to breathe and where people feel good.

    Ozone and negative ion treatment together create very clean indoor air also suitable for workplaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be carried out while people are present because ozone is produced in high concentrations to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentration and negative ionisation achieves good cleaning results even in porous materials.
