Vinyl plank floor features: Stone-composite RCB vinyl flooring has a rigid core, is waterproof and easy to clean. The vinyl plank contains an integrated acoustic underlay. The plank thickness is 5 mm. Modern vinyl plank is a warmer floor material than laminate. Thanks to its strong surface treatment it is very low-maintenance and wear-resistant. A vinyl plank floor reduces hollow sounds and is a quieter alternative to laminate, suitable for apartment buildings or homes with dogs. The floor can be safely installed in various rooms of the home. The vinyl plank is also suitable for installation with water-circulated or embedded screed underfloor heating. Compared with traditional vinyl plank, stone composite is less sensitive to heat and direct sunlight. With a reduced risk of thermal expansion, installation is possible in rooms with large windows and lots of sunlight. Vinyl plank is not recommended for bathrooms or outdoor areas. Thanks to its rigid core construction, vinyl can be installed in large rooms without movement joints. Stone composite consists of about 70% limestone mixed with roughly 25% PVC. During manufacture the different layers are pressed into a strong, thin plank. No glue is used. Stone-composite vinyl has low VOC emissions (VOC = volatile organic compounds). This product has an M1 classification for indoor air quality. The M1 classification sets limits for emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde and ammonia from materials and furnishings and also assesses the acceptability of product odour.
