Well-maintained Claas Volto 64 tedder, first owner. Everything works as it should. Working width 6.4 m. Hydraulically foldable; single-acting hydraulics are sufficient and it even works with a tractor the size of an MF-35. Adjustable for edge tedding so crop at the field edge is thrown towards the centre on a single pass. Mechanical adjustment of the raking throw-angle to suit cutting-wet or dry hay. Raking capacity is impressive compared with, for example, a rotary rake — several hectares per hour. Rakes cleanly and does not scrape up soil. Ground following is accurate and all stems are turned. Sold to make way for a newer, wider one. Can be loaded for transport if required. I would gladly sell it even to a neighbour or acquaintance.

Defects and other observations

Used machine with signs of wear. Rubber drop-protectors for the tines are missing; this does not affect operation. Brackets for the underrun guards were welded on and later removed; visible in the photos — cosmetic only. One support leg is missing but storage is not affected. A few spare parts included.
