A legendary Honda Monkey from the year 1858 in original condition. The last model fitted with a semi-automatic engine. The engine is the original factory unit, which has just been fully rebuilt (completely stripped and all worn parts renewed with either new or better-condition components). The paintwork appears to be entirely original, except for the fuel tank, which at some point was replaced with a newer-model tank painted in the original shade, and the exhaust heat shield and headlamp surround are a different shade of black than originally. Front tyre, cables and other small parts have been replaced. The seat foam and cover have also just been replaced with new ones.


As this is an old, not fully restored example, there will certainly be some tinkering for the next owner. For example, a conventional front-end service is due, but parts for this work are included.


It has not been on the current register, but registration is not a problem. A bill of sale has been made with the previous owner and it can be registered via an inspection for around €150.

The front end requires at least servicing. There will certainly be other issues, as this is an old moped.
