Defects and other observations

Before listing the car for sale we carried out a test drive and condition assessment, during which we made the following observations:

  • The vehicle is roadworthy, but it lacks pull.

  • The engine is not receiving fuel properly. In cold weather it has been difficult to start: the inefficiency/poor starting is suspected to be caused by wear of the "hpop" high-pressure oil pump.

  • Wear observed on the camshaft.

  • The engine control unit has been reprogrammed so the engine does not produce proper fault codes and therefore the warning light does not illuminate. EGR cooler removed.

  • The tow-hitch cap is missing.

It is possible to inspect the car before placing a bid.
