The principle is simple: once the desired felling direction is chosen and the required notch has been cut, the wedge is pushed into the saw gap and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the battery tool pushes the wedge forward between stainless steel lamellae, opening the saw gap and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling guider produces the force needed to fell trees precisely in the chosen direction, easily and without straining the faller. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery will fell dozens of trees.
