For sale: a highly equipped BMW 535 M-Sport with the M57 engine!


The car shows signs of use and needs some attention, but the inspection sticker is valid until August.


The sound system has been completely upgraded; the boot contains amplifiers, a 25 cm subwoofer and a DSP amplifier. Music plays via Bluetooth. The radio only plays from the left speaker, but Bluetooth audio plays from all speakers.


The interior is in fairly good condition, and there were no noticeable strong smells.


The Webasto heater works via the Remuc (phone) app; the previous owner reported it works but we have not tested it.


Emission control equipment appeared to be present on visual inspection, but their functionality is uncertain.

Defects and other observations

On the test drive we made the following observations:


  • Parking sensors do not work

  • Brake pedal feels spongy but works (warning light for brake fluid illuminated)

  • Brakes vibrate

  • Bonnet gas strut is broken, the release cable is also broken and must be opened manually

  • Boot gas strut broken

  • Engine runs normally

  • Gearbox shifts well (no jerking)

  • Drive functions intact

  • Small knocking noise from the front over bumps at low speed

  • Cruise control works

  • Electric seat adjustments work

  • Panoramic sunroof works

  • ABS, handbrake and traction control do not work

  • Seat heaters work

  • Navigation works



The car has not undergone a special condition check by us and the functionality of all equipment has not been tested. There may be hidden faults that we did not notice during the test drive.
