For sale: a Volvo V70 in exceptionally tidy condition, petrol engine and manual gearbox!


The car was purchased new in Finland and has had only two owners. The previous owner used it for 19 years.


Services:

The service book is very neat and every service has been carried out regularly, at intervals of no more than 20,000 km, by a garage.

Most recent service: 26 May 2025 / 372 600 km.

The car comes directly from daily use. A test drive was carried out before listing; no abnormal behaviour, noises or other issues were noticed.

Clutch feel is excellent, no judder when pulling away. The gearbox works well and gears engage smoothly. Steering and brakes also respond properly.


The bodywork is exceptionally tidy for its age and mileage.

The paint is in good condition and no visible dents or knocks were found. There is very minimal surface rust at the rear, photographed.

Of course there are normal small signs of use — it is not a new car.


The interior has a fresh smell; it has not been smoked in and no animals have been transported.

Black leather upholstery that has kept its colour and is in good condition.

The stitching at the edge of the driver’s seat has come undone, but the leather is not torn — a new seam will restore the seat. See photo.


The windscreen has a 20 cm crack across the full width at the lower edge. This will likely be replaced before inspection.

The handbrake is loose and will probably need adjustment for the inspection.

The driver’s headlamp bulb is blown.


The car comes with two sets of tyres on alloy wheels. Winter studded tyres used for a couple of winters, in good condition.

Summer tyres have 6 mm tread depth and are also in very good condition.
