Test drive: Taken in part-exchange from everyday work use. On the test drive the vehicle felt technically acceptable; the four-wheel drive appears to work and the gears engage smoothly. The rear brake drags, causing a "squeaking" noise.


Technical: On the test drive the engine/gearbox appeared to operate normally. The inspection issued a repair recommendation for an oil leak; this has not been investigated further.


Tyres: Surprisingly good. Studded winter tyres are relatively new and summer tyres are on BMW rims with good tread depth.
