The car was recently driven from Jyväskylä to Kirkkonummi. It is being put up for auction because the following faults were found in Vagen's inspections:


Vagen inspected the car and these are the observations:

1. Engine timing chain is noisy

2. Exhaust resonates and vibrates, pronounced

-Right exhaust flex section defective

-Right exhaust resonator broken

Flex section needs replacing

3. Catalytic converters inspected with an endoscope

-Damage in front of the right catalytic converter

4. Dual-mass flywheel removed and tested for effect on engine vibration at idle

-Engine still vibrates with only the drive plate

-Dual-mass flywheel is noisy and must therefore be replaced but it does not affect the vibration

5. Engine mount rubbers inspected

-Engine was eased so the mount rubbers were free, no effect on the vibration.

6. Engine running and sensor data examined with test equipment

-Knock sensor values on cylinder one differ from the others

-Checked injector leakage and spark plugs

-No faults found

7. Compression and leakage measurements carried out on the engine
