The 2.7 twin‑turbo sounds a bit more muscular than the standard four‑cylinder.


Inspection sticker still valid, so it can be driven while faults are fixed.


- Driveshaft vibrates slightly at about 80 km/h.


- Some surface defects on the body.


- Rear exhaust has been patched so you won't dare rev it; I think it needs a complete replacement. The catalytic converter is missing and the front section is rotten.


- Emits blue smoke when started after a long standing period.


- Gearbox replaced with the diesel equivalent (final drives checked to be the same) and linkage modified. It sits a little off so gear selection is slightly misaligned. All gears engage without grinding but it needs some getting used to.


The original (noisy) gearbox can be included if wanted.


- Some lights are out; I would assume bulb faults.


- Slight leaks from various places. The underside is dirty, so it’s hard to tell exact sources and amounts.


- RS4 model clutch, intercoolers and injectors.


Basically a driveable car but I no longer have the need or interest for it.


Valve cover gaskets have just been renewed.

So it remains a usable little project car.
