The modern Kraft&Dele inverter welder is designed for arc welding with coated electrodes. Shielded metal arc welding uses a consumable metal electrode coated with a flux.

The unit is intended for manual electric welding with electrodes 1.6–5.0 mm, depending on the selected material and its thickness. Smooth adjustment of the welding current allows optimal welding even for beginners.

The welder is equipped with a VRD system that reduces the torch voltage when welding is not being performed. This increases user safety by minimising the risk of electric shock. The correct voltage is restored when the arc is struck again.
