Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget felling bars, old-fashioned wedges, strap ratchets and luck. The Jokijärvi felling wedge can be used in several ways: with a battery-powered impact wrench, a ratchet wrench, or a powerful cordless tool. Easy to carry.

The device’s principle is simple: once the felling direction is chosen and the required notch is cut, the wedge is inserted into the saw gap and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the power tool pushes the wedge, run between stainless-steel lamellae, forward, opening the saw gap and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling guide produces the force to fell trees precisely in the chosen direction, with minimal strain on the faller. A safety distance of twice the tree’s height must be maintained. A single 4 Ah battery will fell dozens of trees.
