Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget felling bars, old-fashioned wedges, strap-ratchets and luck. The Jokijärvi wedge can be used in several ways with a cordless impact wrench, a ratchet wrench or a powerful cordless tool. Easy to carry.

The device is simple to use: once the felling direction has been chosen and the required notch cut in the tree, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge moving between stainless steel lamellae forward, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical felling guide produces the force needed to fell trees accurately in the chosen direction without straining the logger. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
