ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged particles to clump together and fall out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air that are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes (microbial toxins) that mix into indoor air as aerosols form a serious health risk when they reach the lungs and bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not mix into the air cause harm mainly via spores, which are the producers of these toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative ionisation is based on high concentrations.

When a device produces negative ions in addition to ozone, the effect is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials such as upholstery and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air present a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel into the deep lungs (alveoli) with inhaled air and can enter the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative ionisation clean indoor air of harmful fine particles and also remove bacteria, moulds, viruses and various gases.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially effectively in an over‑pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative ionisation together form compounds that can effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, e.g. sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn cooking and tobacco odours.

    Ozone and negative negative ionisation also remove fine particles and MVOC/VOC compounds from the air.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy‑to‑breathe indoor air which is comfortable for people.

Indoor air ozonation cannot be carried out while people are present because ozone is produced in high concentrations to destroy microbial spores. With high ozone levels plus negative ions you achieve good cleaning results also in porous materials. After treatment the area is ventilated and occupants may return.
