ABOUT IONISATION:
Negative ions produced into indoor air cause light, positively charged airborne particles to attach to them; the resulting larger, heavier particles settle quickly out of the breathing zone.

Negative ionisation also breaks down volatile organic compounds in the air, which are harmful when inhaled. Toxic compounds produced by microbes, dispersed into indoor air as aerosols, form a significant health hazard when they reach the lungs and then the bloodstream. Heavy microbial toxins that do not disperse in air cause harm mainly via spores, which are producers of dangerous toxins.

The effectiveness of ozone (O3) and negative air ionisation relies on high concentrations.

When the unit produces both ozone and negative ions, performance is 5–10 times better than ozone alone, and high concentrations remove spores and odours effectively even from porous materials, e.g. sofas and bedding.

Fine particles in indoor air pose a serious health risk in homes and workplaces.

Harmful fine particles travel with inhaled air into the lower parts of the lungs (alveoli) and into the bloodstream, causing serious health problems in addition to asthma and allergies.

Ozonation and negative air ionisation remove harmful fine particles from indoor air, as well as bacteria, mould, viruses and various gases.

    Ozonation and negative ionisation work especially well in a pressurised building.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together generate compounds that effectively remove microbial spores and various odours, for example sewer gases, smoke smells, bacterial and mould toxin odours, and stubborn food and smoking odours.

    Ozone and negative ion treatment also remove fine particles and MVOC (microbial volatile organic compounds) and VOC (volatile organic compounds).

    Ozonation and negative ionisation produce a pleasant, easy‑to‑breathe indoor air; people feel good in such a clean environment.

    Ozone and negative air ionisation together provide very clean indoor air also for workplaces.

Indoor ozonation cannot be carried out while people are present, because ozone is produced in high concentrations to destroy microbial spores. The combined effect of high ozone concentration and negative ionisation achieves good cleaning results even on porous materials. After air treatment the space is ventilated and occupants may return.
