Backapp Original is the original Backapp chair model used by over 100,000 satisfied customers worldwide. This premium model features a soft seat, a lightweight aluminium frame and can be fitted to the Backapp Wheels platform.

Backapp Original provides an ergonomic seating position with the feet resting on the foot plate. This position promotes good posture and gentle movement, ensuring excellent sitting comfort.

The secret of the Backapp chair lies in its ball-like red structure. When seated on this chair the feet do not touch the floor and the sitting position resembles standing on a balance board. Backapp strengthens the back because good posture is maintained, the body stays relaxed and balance is constantly engaged. The feet rest on the foot plate, allowing free movement of the body in different directions. Using the Backapp trains the deep core muscles that support the spine. The body moves continuously to find balance, which provides excellent, natural exercise for the back muscles.

The frame is made from 99.9% recycled die-cast aluminium and is available in silver‑grey, dark grey and gloss finishes. A ball is cast into the tube which allows the seat tilt to be adjusted. The tube has green and red tilt indicators. The nitrile rubber tube is attached to the base with double-sided tape to ensure a secure bond during use. The chair is available with a single standard lift height; detailed dimensions can be found in the product description. The seat is rounded with a curved central rise that reduces pressure on the perineal area.

NOTE: The item must be collected by 28 March 2026. Items can be collected on weekdays between 08:00–16:00 and on Saturdays 09:00–14:00. If the item is not collected within the agreed time, we will charge a storage fee of €20 per day per item.

The items are located at Sorvaajankatu 15, Helsinki. Collection takes place from the loading dock, which has an adjustable bridge and vehicle ramp. Please note that carrying the item to your vehicle/trailer from the warehouse pickup point is the collector's responsibility.
