Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget felling bars, old-fashioned wedges, strap-and-ratchet setups and lucky guesses. The Jokijärvi felling wedge can be used in several ways — with a battery impact wrench, a ratchet wrench or a powerful cordless tool. Easy to carry.

The device is simple to operate: once the felling direction is chosen and the felling notch is cut, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge, which moves between stainless-steel lamellae, opening the cut and causing the tree to fall in the chosen direction.

The mechanical felling guide produces the force needed to fell trees precisely in the desired direction with little strain on the logger. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery can fell dozens of trees.
