Safe felling requires great care and precision. Forget felling bars, old-fashioned wedges, strap ratchets and lucky breaks. The Jokijärvi felling wedge can be used in several ways — with a battery-powered impact wrench, a ratchet wrench or a powerful cordless tool. Easy to carry.

The principle is simple: once the felling direction is chosen and the required notch has been cut in the tree, the wedge is inserted into the saw cut and the trigger is pressed. The rotating threaded rod driven by the cordless tool pushes the wedge, which moves between stainless-steel lamellae, opening the saw cut and causing the tree to fall in the desired direction.

The mechanical directional felling device produces the force to fell trees precisely where you want, without tiring the faller. The safety distance must be twice the length of the tree being felled. A single 4 Ah battery will fell dozens of trees.
