These were the words on our flipchart when we started designing a higher-quality, more spacious hot tub. We turned that brainstorm into a product and so the Premium Hot Tub was born — with room to lounge thanks to a 2 m diameter! You can enjoy the luxury space alone, but the Premium Hot Tub also fits a whole group of friends. Children have room for livelier water play in this high-quality giant. We improved the Premium Hot Tub further by adding a user-friendly step, creating the Premium Step In Hot Tub that makes it easier for children and the elderly to get in and out for cooling breaks. The step’s versatility makes this tub even more premium.

Practical, versatile Step In step

You might not think one plastic step can do so much, but it does. We designed a Step In step to make entering the tub easier. The step naturally aids getting into and out of the tub, but it also serves as a seat for a smaller child whose head might otherwise sink under water. Parents can relax more when their child has a bathing step of their own size. In use we've found the step also works as a handy handrail — making the Premium Step In Hot Tub a convenient lounging tub. The Step In solution makes the Premium Step In Hot Tub suitable for all ages and helps people with limited mobility to bathe more easily.

Premium class gives extra room

At Hyvän Kaupan Paikka we manufacture quality hot tubs, and the Premium range takes it a step further with its larger size. The Premium series gives you a bigger tub and that means first-class, premium-level comfort. In smaller hot tubs legs can quickly become tangled in the middle, but an extra 30–40 cm in diameter works wonders! The barrel’s water volume does not increase significantly and the Premium Step In Hot Tub is almost as quick to heat as smaller tubs. Plenty of choices

We apologise in advance for making one part of buying a tub a little tricky. It’s a positive problem: you must make choices to get your Premium Step In Hot Tub tailored to your taste. You can choose the plastic shell colour from five options. It doesn’t stop there. You can also choose the outer cladding material from three options and pick the cover colour between black or grey. The colour range is inspired by nature, including sea blue or lichen grey. All colour schemes are compatible and work well together.

Insulated for northern conditions

To achieve first-class insulation we wrapped the Premium Step In Hot Tub in proper thermal layers. Under the plastic shell there is 44 cm thick EPS insulation that keeps frost out and the bathing water warm even in colder winter weather. We also lined the tub sides generously with thermo plastic so the edges are insulated too. This particularly efficient hot tub retains heat so well that a well-covered Premium Step In Hot Tub is still warm the next day. For winter bathing we recommend one more load of wood before the next day’s bath. Active oxygen tablets added after an evening bath also freshen the water for the next session. Then just enjoy again — or, if it’s children, splash about.

Powerful, hot performance

Our efficient marine-aluminium Arctic stove heats the water to bathing temperature within a couple of hours. The 35 kW marine-aluminium stove is durable and conducts heat well. The stove has a stylish glass hatch so the wood-heated tub emits a pleasant glow without needing to open the hatch to check the fire.

Hyvän Kaupan Paikka’s marine-aluminium stoves are made in Finland. The high-powered stove copes even with seawater — it works with both fresh and brackish water. Thoughtful material details make the stove a top-quality, high-performance product. Remember that chlorine is not recommended with marine aluminium because chlorine will oxidise the aluminium. We recommend changing the water regularly and using active oxygen tablets (see accessories list). Active oxygen sanitises the water for about 24 hours, after which the water can be reused for irrigation as it contains no added chemicals and is safer for children. Non-oxidised water can easily form a slimy film on the tub edges, but active oxygen prevents this.

Carefree plastic shell

The uniquely shaped and ergonomically designed basin of the Premium Step In Hot Tub is rotationally moulded polyethylene (Jaxal). This plastic has memory — it retains the shape it was moulded into. The easy-care, low-maintenance plastic shell stands the test of time, which is why we offer a ten-year warranty.

Because the plastic shell has no moulded seams, dirt cannot collect in specific spots. Remember to keep the surfaces clean when changing the water. This is easy with ordinary detergents. The most meticulous users may occasionally disinfect their shell, but remember to dispose of waste water correctly.
