An All-Season tyre is a summer tyre with a touch of winter tyre characteristics. It is not a full winter tyre for Finland's deep winter, but many models still carry the 3PMSF marking required for winter driving. Unlike winter tyres, an all-season tyre also withstands summer heat without degrading. They therefore cope with Central European winters — meaning they provide grip during late-spring snowfalls, midsummer sleet and the first cold nights of autumn. Our fitter has also tested these on gravel roads and found the grip excellent. For rural residents these are a great option! The tread pattern of an All-Season tyre is not as vulnerable to sharp stones as a regular summer tyre with straight grooves. However, these tyres will not be saved from the sharpest crushed rock — when driving near worksites, gravel pits and unpaved roads you should always be careful.
