An All‑Season tyre is a summer tyre with a touch of winter-tyre features. It is not a full winter tyre for severe Finnish winters, but many models still carry the 3PMSF marking required for winter use. Unlike winter tyres, an all‑season tyre also withstands summer heat. They cope well in central European winters — so you get grip in late‑spring cold snaps, mid‑summer sleet and the first chilly autumn nights. Our fitter has also tested these on gravel roads and found the grip excellent. For rural residents these are a great option! The tread pattern of an All‑Season tyre is less vulnerable to sharp stones than a regular summer tyre with straight grooves. However, they will not fully protect against the sharpest crushed rock — exercise caution near worksites, gravel pits and unsealed roads.
