Reluctantly trying to sell my long-running car to make way for a younger one💔


Driven, if I recall, between about 612,000–614,000 km; the car is currently in winter storage in a garage just over 100 km away, so the exact mileage is not certain.


Over the past four years many have asked why it idles oddly, but no fault has ever been found.


An auxiliary fuel-fired heater is fitted but smokes quite a lot, so I haven’t used it. It might be clogged. An engine block heater is also fitted if you don’t want to investigate the auxiliary heater.


Emits black smoke; cause unknown but it passed the emissions test.


The timing belt/related service was done at about 460,000 km, so it will be due again soon. The inspection is due in about 3 months; no known issues for the test. Oil was changed late in the summer and the car was then put into storage a couple of months later.


I have updated the service book where I remembered, so one exists and had good entries before my ownership. There are no photos of the service book as it is stored with the car😁


No interior photos either as the decision to sell was a bit sudden. Black full-leather seats, fairly intact. Two sets of tyres and wheels; the summer tyres are already worn smooth.
