Defects and other observations

On a short test drive we made the following observations:


- I could not open the roof (the exact functional fault in the roof-opening mechanism was not determined).


- When the engine is cold and the throttle is applied there is a noise from the engine. Our service at Wetteri Auto Oy Lempäälä checked it briefly and the noise does not seem to come from the timing chain. It could possibly be BMW's Vanos (variable camshaft timing), but we cannot be certain.


- No warning lights are on and the car appeared to perform normally on the test drive. The vehicle was driven just over 90 km to the dealership without problems. The timing chain was replaced in October 2025 (see service receipt images).


- The summer tyres are no longer in good condition and should definitely be replaced!


- I was unable to test the air conditioning due to freezing temperatures.
