Clean-looking facelift Audi A4 1.8 TFSI Quattro with a recent inspection available! The engine is the sprightly 1.8 TFSI which had an oil-consumption overhaul in May 2025, so one of the biggest issues with this engine has been addressed. The clutch and turbo were also replaced in late 2025, so major jobs have been done on this example. The engine and gearbox feel good and the car drives neatly. This Audi has the S-line exterior/interior package for a sportier look, and in summer it’s completed by nice 19” Audi Rotor wheels. Body and interior are generally in tidy condition. A detachable towbar is fitted if needed. A nice Audi to bid on!

+ Market price for a car like this is around €12,500–13,000 and many similar cars haven’t had such extensive mechanical work as this one, so that should be taken into account.

Points to note:

• The previous owner reportedly drove about 50,000 km more than the current odometer shows, so actual mileage is roughly 225,000 km. Something odd apparently happened when the car was in for engine work and the mileage disappeared on that visit; the workshop recorded the car at about 155,000 km when it was booked in. I can’t say exactly what happened and I don’t have the impression the odometer was deliberately altered. It may be possible for a competent workshop to reprogramme the correct value back to the instrument cluster.

• As noted, the engine overhaul in May 2025 included a new piston set, not only piston rings. The car sometimes illuminates the oil-pressure warning light when warm, usually only when stationary (e.g. at traffic lights). We have fitted new oil-pressure sensors (aftermarket), fresh oil, a replacement breather (aftermarket) and oil pressures were measured at the garage and are within the guideline values (see receipt in photos). The warning light does not affect the car’s behaviour: the engine runs smoothly, pulls well and has no unusual noises. The car has basic engine tuning from the previous owner.

• The protective plastic for the headlight washer is missing on the passenger side.

• Some paint has lifted from the grille.

• Winter tyres have tread but the studs are quite worn.
