The cleaning effect of an ultrasonic cleaner is produced by transmitting waves (invisible to the human eye) through the water containing the cleaning fluid. This creates thousands of tiny cavitation centres (microbubbles) which then implode under the action of the same sound waves. The penetration of the microbubbles causes local, rapid pressure changes that detach dirt particles (grease and other impurities) from the surface of an object. With this method you can effectively clean all surfaces submerged in the tank without scrubbing or wiping.

When the appropriate fluid is used, it is perfectly suitable for disinfecting all kinds of items.
